Sharing the Gospel - Prayers for healing:
We have shifted focus a bit in our fellowship for some time ahead, from praying for sick people to more of discipleship training in the the home setting when we meet. Here praying for sick people is definitely a part.
House church - Jesus Fellowship
Once every second week we have our fellowship in House Church or in our Jesus Fellowship, but we can sometimes meet several times a week for fellowship. The day is often on Saturdays.
Today on May 19 2024 we had our House church fellowship in the forest with some snacks and Bible studies.

How do we do it?
We meet in a home...
We usually meet in a home, and everybody bring and share something to the food we eat together in the beginning of our time together. This is a time when we together function as a family, spiritual brothers and sisters in Christ. We meet to have fellowship with each other as well as with the Lord, together. Here we also get a chance to serve each other with the spiritual gifts the Lord has given us. In this way we experience what it means to be the Body of Christ together. Body of Christ. (Hebr 10:25)
What do we do...
We pray, celebrate Communion (as a full meal together), and through Discovery Bible Studies of some Bible text together, and let the Word speak to us.(Acts 2:42-43). We encourage each other that each one of us can hear from God (through the Holy Spirit), and train each other in this, and to discern what is from God and what is not. Discipleship means to be doers of the word not only hearers (James 1:22); Because of this, we encourage each other to also share our discoveries in the Bible with somebody else during the following week.
Our leadership philosophy...
We believe in a serving leadership in house church, but in which experience and maturity in our journey with Christ determines who leads whom. We strive for that the Holy Spirit equipp us first with the fruits of the Spirit, as a solid foundation in our life as disciples of Jesus, and then, after this, that we gradually find and grow into the calling/function (apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd or teacher) God have for us personally (Ef 4:1-16)
Who can join...
We welcome people who are ...born again disciple to Jesus; for this particular reason we first meet new persons outside the house church fellowship, in order to first get to know them a bit before they possibly is invited into the fellowship, or is discipled to start a fellowship of their own.
Discipleship...
In our fellowship we train (and coach) each other, for leadership, and to be a servant to God. We try to be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit already do in the life of each person, and try to empower and encourage this, each of us through our own spiritual gifts. Thus discipleship is something always ongoing when we are together.
What we strive for...
The goal is that each one after one year in the fellowship, will be able to start his/her own fellowship of disciples, and to them pass on the same teaching and training received, in order for them to be able to do the same thing as well, and so on. (2 Tim 2:2)
We build a network of disciples to Jesus - with the goal in mind to be able to be a part of and fulfill the great Commandment of Jesus:
Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of age.
Prayer
Prayer is... a conversation with God, and we believe that every person who is ...born again can have a conversation with God, through the Holy Spirit, but this is also something you grow into as you walk your path in life with God.
In addition to the personal prayer we have with God on our own daily, we see the prayer times we have together as a group, 2 or more people, as very important. The praxis of this is under development.
If you have any prayer requests, send us a message under the heading Contact us.
Practical help
We try to live as disciples of Jesus 24/7. We se the life as a disciple more as a "life" rather than a meeting. We se this in praxis through our efforts to help and assist each other when needed as best as we can. (Acts 2:42-47)
