Today this morning I saw this news article on SVT News webb App:

Early the spring of 2020 the world was hit by a Pandemic, Covid-19. After some time it spread around the world, as pandemics do, and we were all affected, in some way or another.
But there is also another Pandemic that have hit us, and which has been around since the early history of Man: the quest for who we are a as a human being; the search after a sustainable Identity, for something that can give us inner peace. But the scary thing is, that in Sweden among a group of young people - as young as 13 years old - this search have produced some tragic consequences.

The swedish poet Hjalmar Söderberg wrote the following poem:

People want to be loved; failing that admired; failing that feared; failing that hated and despised. They want to evoke some sort of sentiment. The soul shudders before oblivion and seeks connection at any price."People want to be loved; failing that admired; failing that feared; failing that hated and despised. How did this "oblivion" in our interior arise and how does it arise? The answer is: when it is not filled up with what it is supposed to be filled with - the True Identity of Man, and knowledge of how to keep this identity.

The Human Being is more than what we can see, our physical body. The Human Being consists of 3 parts: Body, Soul and Spirit.
(1 Thess 5:23) "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Our soul consist of our thoughts, feelings and will power. There is a hierarki between the body, the soul and the spirit. When this hierarki is disturbed or mixed up, there will be an imbalance in life.
These three parts have arisen in different ways; the body and soul are made, while the spirit is created (1 (Genesis 1:26-27); made implies design from already existing material, while created implies the creation of something from nothing. We see this explained in Genesis 2:7.
It is the same way today, when a baby is designed in the womb of the mother from already existing material, while the spirit in a supernatural way is created and implanted in the fetus as soon as the child is formed. This spirit will live forever even when the body dies one day.
How does the right hierarchical balance between these parts look like? The soul is above the body, and the spirit is above the soul. Proof of that the created spirit is above the two others which are designed, we understand from Genesis 2:7"...Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."

How does the imbalance look like, and what caused it? One part of the soul is the Will Power om Man, and it is often this quality together with the two other parts - Thoughts and Feelings - that we connect with being Human. Our Will Power (or impulse control) serve the purpose to regulate if it is the human part - body, feelings and thoughts - or the spiritual part that will run our lives.
Early on in the history of Man this Will Power was tested, and unfortunately Man choose to succumb to the the human part of Man, and then the ordained balance in the hierarki shifted, with the consequence that the spiritual part was subdued under the human part.
But the human part cannot fill the "oblivion" that is created when the spiritual part is subdued under the human part; and Man cannot live in a spiritual vacuum, or with an interior spiritual oblivion. In the long run it is too painful. Many people have this interior "oblivion". When they find something that partly can fill it, it only gives them short-term gratification, and with bad consequences afterwards; like when someone tries to meet their hunger for food with candy instead. They end up with severe stomach pain. But there is also other kind of spirits..., who have a soul but not a body... who willingly want to fill peoples interior oblivion, but who only want to destroy Man in the long-run. We can read about this in Genesis 3.

How can the hierarchical balance between spirit, body and soul be restored? The answer is: by searching for and turning to the source that created and implanted our spirit in us from the beginning. When we do that, it is then, and only then, we find and return to our right and true Identity ,it is then we truly "come back home".
In 1 Cor 6:17 we find: "But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit."
This means that you with your Will Power start to seek this "Lord", "him".
Are You a person with an interior oblivion?
Are You a person who tries to fill your interior oblivion with something else which only gives short-term
gratification?
Are You a person who have filled your interior oblivion with other spirits...who you notice have started to control you or have control over you?
